Accessibility statement
GetMyHotels is committed to making travel planning and booking accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim for WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance across web (getmyhotels.com) and the iOS + Android apps. Last reviewed 2026-05-27.
What we support today
- Keyboard navigation across every primary flow
- Screen reader labels on every interactive element (VoiceOver, NVDA, TalkBack)
- Visible focus indicators on all keyboard-reachable controls
- Color contrast verified against design tokens for both light and dark themes
- Semantic HTML structure with landmarks, headings, and lists
- Resizable text up to 200% without loss of functionality
- Captions on instructional video content (where present)
Known limitations
- Some third-party embeds (maps, supplier photo carousels) inherit their vendors' accessibility behavior, which may fall short of our WCAG 2.2 AA target.
- Live chat streaming announces incrementally; we're working on a setting to defer screen-reader announcement to the end of each reply so it reads naturally.
Standards
Our conformance target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Where European law applies, this also satisfies EN 301 549 v3.2.1 §9 (web) and §11 (mobile apps). US compliance aligns with Section 508 Refresh and ADA Title III expectations under the DOJ's 2024 final rule for public-sector entities and the prevailing private-sector standard.
